The Wolf

Somewhere the wolf will howl

She is hunting for food on the prowl

Hunting so she can feed her cubs

Before men find them with clubs

She hunts for only what she will need

Then return for her young to feed

Only for food, will she kill

For sport, mankind cause blood to spill

But her cubs have been found

Where she hid them underground

The wolf will be too late

To save then from cruel fate

She could not save her young

And day break has now begun

You can hear the wolf cry

Why did her cubs have to die

The Shark

Hunting in the sea for prey

With black eyes so mean

For anything that will stray

A living killing machine

To save you there is nothing

The ocean will be your hell

Breaking the surface comes a fin

The shark is an emotionless shell

Death will strike the ocean tonight

Devouring everything that it can

The shark is a terrifying sight

A killer second only to man

The Hamster

The hamster is sitting there
In his cage looking at me
Wondering if he could escape somewhere
To get out and to be free

So now he is eating his meal
Stuffing some food in his cheeks
And then he plays on his wheel
He could stay on it for weeks

Now he climbs in his house for bed
He will sleep all of the day
You might see him pop out his head
From his little hideaway

But at night he gnaws on the bars
And he keeps me wide awake
I can see him from the light from the stars
Please let me sleep for goodness sake

Fat Rat

Somewhere there lives in my flat

A creature with a very long tail

It is a silly old big fat rat

That can only run as fast as a snail

He is so clumsy as he sneaks

Wobbling along across the mat

He makes me laugh when he squeaks

Because he is ever so fat

And one day he got stuck in my shoe

All I saw was his tail in the air

He just did not know what to do

Now I wonder if he is still there
