My Heart Sings

The words may not come for some time

I could not find the words to write

The right words to make rhyme

To make it sound just right



But then I just think of you

And my feelings start to grow

All right out of the blue

The words all begin to flow



And a lot of the love that I feel

That I have deep down inside

Because these feelings are real

Tears of happiness I have cried



I think of you with all my desire

Because of you I find my way

You give me reason to inspire

Each and every day



So thank you for loving me

To help me write the right things

For everything how it can be

So please listen as my heart sings
