Once I thought I would stand here alone,
Lost an isolation that chilled my soul.
Where the world seemed to be so barren,
I was too afraid to let anyone inside.
But now I can brush away the clouds,
And let the Sun, at last, shine on down.
There is a smile, once again, on my face,
As I realise that life can cast us some magic.
You have opened up my heart, shown me where love is,
These emotions no longer need to be hidden away.
I can be myself, I can come out from those shadows,
I can rejoice with myself, I can now be of worth.
