There are those friends
That are close to you
They are always there
They are always true
Some become lovers
And share in your life
They also show they care
Through all trouble and strife
Some are like beautiful sisters
Some are like a protective brother
Guiding you from the troubles
No true friend is the same as each other
False friends come and they go
Take advantage when you are low
Abandon you in time of need
Never wanting to know
But friends like you I truly love
Cherish all you have to say
My friend you are deep in my heart
And will be on each passing day
